I'm not hating developers, I'm not hating the game as whole, I hate a singular design decision.
Many games have those kind of decisions...If thats your only issue then why did you get a refund? At this point its more on you than the devs.

Yunipuma: Exactly. Like I said to GOG support team, if developers include an option to disable endless enemies, I'll re-buy the game, because I was happy enough with everything else so far. My sincere desire to see it happen so I speak here in hope the devs will listen.
How does a refund even work if you already installed it? You could just keep the game without them knowing since the games are DRM free and can be stored on your system.

I believe in freedom of speech whether I agree with their views or not. It`s called freedom and democracy.

Thats not a thing on the internet same as the internet doesnt have democracy or any other governmental institution behind it. Also, hate speech shouldnt be tolerated.

And what if I said I don`t agree with LGBT and I don`t wish to have it pushed on me? that I do not want to have homosexuality pushed upon me in games, tv or film?

Playing this game is like playing Battlefield 1 MP against Chinese cheaters. No matter what you try - your char dies. Period.

Enemy AI not only detects you through 3 brick walls, they also kill you in one or two bursts from across the map - and I play on "EASY". The outdated round based system not only lets you sit half the time twiddling your thumbs waiting for the AI to complete its moves, for a change it also lets you watch helplessly as your char gets rek`d by Superman AI with x-ray eyes. Line of sight and cover have apparently not yet been introduced for the enemy AI.

For me this game offers vast stretches of boredom when you send your agents to exclamation marks on the map - only to find "no suspicious activity" coupled with moments of utter frustration when your agents get ambushed and shot to pieces, no matter what you try and how many times you reload. In between these events you can detach an agent to the workshop where he/she invents the Swiss army knife for lockpicking.

How this game was given "green light" for release is a mystery to me.

While extremely harsh, i have to agree. Why it was released in a very obvious work in progress state i simply do not understand.

I'll explain. I was one of the first posters on this game's forums & I asked if there was a time or turn limit of any kind in this game. I was told - no, no limits by a developer.
Great, I pre-ordered. But then - mission which IS a limit. Because enemies spawns endlessly, you ONLY option is get to evac zone in time. You cannot sneak, you cannot evade combat. So this IS a time (turn) limit.
And yes, this is my ONLY problem with this game and yes, it is enough for me to ask for refund. If I knew about endless enemies in a unavoidable mission, I'd not pre-ordered.
Now, I've answered your question and now I ask YOU a question: what's your problem with me speaking my mind? Do not tolerate different opinion?

Now youre just nitpicking and whining...its sad. Different opinion is 1 thing, being wrong is another. There is no timer anywhere. Are you really complaining that you have to do what a reasonable realistic response would be for a spy, which is getting to the damn evac asap? You shouldnt have bought the game to begin with then, watch youtube players try it and then decide. This is on you, not the devs.

Endless enemy reinforcements are an issue yes but not in the way you mean. What do you wanna do? Sit there all day in that 1 mission killing some enemies that spawn to farm XP or what? What is your endgoal here? Also, if you got a refund which i doubt you got since GOG cant refund games you already installed as they cant verify that you really uninstalled it, you might want to comeback here and see if things changed. Other than that youre just here to stir up drama.

Hey OP,

I do feel you. After playing that kind of game since "UFO enemy unknown) I spent about 6 trys and gave up.

Dind't feel like trying CIA side though (which could have been a solution), so I waited a few days for a trainer and just rushed through that mission :( ... see, devs, what you forced me to do!

The combat missions are quite a part of the game but I also didn't like to get it forced on me.

The real problem seems to be, it came to fast for me, learning curve too steep. Which is okay, if devs wanted to have a tough hardcore game. But none should wonder if some players get frustrated before they can learn. Thats what difficult levels are for :) at least some people say so. Maybe there could be a "easy" difficulty for non hardcore / story orientated players?

BUT devs are listening and they seem to be willing to change stuff, so I'm optimistic ;)
