I just love the Phantasmagoria series! It was the first game and a daft 3DO adventure/shooter called Corpse Killer that started my love/hate relationship with FMV heavy adventure games. I belive Corpse Killer was also released on DOS so I would love to see it get the GOG treatment! :p

I own the original Big Box versions of both Phantasmagoria and Phantasmagoria II - A Puzzle of Flesh. I also remember being so disapointed to find out that here in the UK Phantasmagoria II was cut by the BBFC. Two death scenes I believe were censored regrdless of whether you played the game in it's censored form or not!

From what I can remember the first Phantasmagoria remained intact and included that infamous scene here in the UK. Regardless both games were excellent and still remain in my collection today. I will be getting both games again soon (saves messing about with patches to get these games working on modern computers) to support GOG, especially Phantasmagoria II so I can finally play through the game uncensored! :D

heheh i was the same, i found it pretty hypocritical that they cut the 2nd game and not the first. when i played the uncensored version i found the 2 death scenes they censored weren't even that explicit, ok what happens to the 2 victims is quite extreme and ott but no more ott than the original and in terms of blood you dont see allot and they're over pretty quick. i found the torture death scenes and the end sequence in the original phantasmagoria allot more disturbing when i was younger and they were certainly allot more explicit..
