Hi!

I saw one post on here where someone had the game working over Hamachi, but it doesn't work for me. I tried Evolve and Tunngle as well, no luck. I used DMZ on both players' routers and turned off both windows firewalls but it still wont connect. No hosted games show up in the list, and it wont connect with an IP. It works fine over regular LAN, but not any VPN. Other games work fine over each of those VPN solutions though, so its really strange!
If anyone has had success playing Pax Imperia - Eminent Domain over the internet in ANY WAY, please let me know how you did it, my friend and I REALLY want to play it together!

I have been able to use it over hamachi and just windows VPN.

With hamachi i did have a problem that it was taking my normal lan and not hamachi's lan. So i had to make it priority to get it working with hamachi.

Windows VPN was a lot more involved as I had to setup my router to use the VPN correctly where are hamachi did all that.


Hamachi: In the network adaptors window, press alt and goto advanced, then choose adv settings and make sure hamachi is at the top of the list of connections.

This worked for me.
