Hello everyone

I am having a problem with the music for Pax imperia.
Basically the volume control for the music simply doesn't work. The sliders for FX and voices work just fine, but the music one does nothing.

Does anybody have an idea?

As far as I know, there is an issue with the music compatibility. My Pax crashes with music on and is stable with music off.
All right got an answer from the support. They're using a wrapper for the music (which makes sense as it plain doesn't work with my cd version of the game) and unfortunately it doesn't allow for adjusting the volume. A shame really, but I'm working around it by adjusting the game's sound volume in the windows mixer - if you're having problems with alt tabbing you can ctrl alt del out of the game).

Support also suggested re-encoding the music to the desired volume.

Does anyone know how to fix the problem when the music doesn't play at all?
For windows 10 the music does not play at all, from the last official post GoG did they are working on the win10 problem. But no ETA.
I'm running Windows 10 and have music, it does tend to disappear though. Good to know they are working on it. :)
you must rename the folder "MUSIC" by "Music".

Same here. I'm running this game on an XP machine, and the music works for a few minutes after starting and then dies. Hoping it will be fixed or I'll just try to hunt down an original CD version to play instead.

Are you sure about this? Renaming the folder? It's case sensitive???

:)
that did not completely fix my issue, it still fades out.
Windows 7 x64.
1) Music stops playing randomly when screen changes (e.g. from battle mode to strategy mode).
2) Music volume can not be adjusted.
While (2) is not a great problem, (1) makes me a bit unhappy with this product.
