when I trade and open the office, i can see what seems to be its capacity and i got

750/500

seems that it contains more than it should be able to

is it a bug or am i missing something there?

No problems. It's just renting space in other warehouses. Keep track of it. Those rental fees can eat you alive before you get some good cash flow.

If you are playing on an easier difficulty, your increase in trade earnings might be enough to not notice the difference. But it doesn't hurt to watch it closely, at least right after you start over-buying.

After your answer i searched where those rental fees appeared and it's in "trading office => warehouse"

the cost is 1gold piece for each additionnal load per day, so now that the situation is 850/500, i rent room for 350 barrels (35 loads), so it's 35 gold pieces per day...12775 gold pieces a year...

like you said, better keep track of it...
