After I have been playing the game over a year (in game) I have got the attached message.
I'm on the way from Hamburg to Brugge and every time I'm getting this. Can't play anymore.
Repaired and reinstalled Patrician 1 but every times the same result after loading.
Slowly I'm thinking I have got an illegal version of this game.
Edit:
After trying a purely game without any language patch I have to say, that the appearing error is definitely caused by a certain German patch (Compiware) and is not caused by the English GOG version.
Election of Hanseatic Elderman In June 1356 begins normally.
