Just got Patrician 3 because I had Patrician 2 a long time ago, my Dad bought it for me and I remember it fondly, well anyway I installed it and went to run it and the video test came up and I chose test all, It then stops working. I added both p3s.exe and patrician3.exe to the DEP exeptions list and while p3s.exe still stops working the game starts up.

When I try playing the tutorial I get a "Set display mode failed" error and the game crashes. Can someone help me?

I get that on my laptop when I try to select the highest video mode.

Go into Options on the main screen and choose a lower setting.
