Looks like the problem has been resolved. After the release of the 1.0.9-PREVIEW patch the crash after the shootout is no longer a problem, although not everything is over. I'm very happy that it works. However, there was another freeze at the end of the chapter (Wrath of the God). In this situation, I had to quit the game. Fortunately, this is a small problem that has not happened after the game is restarted. I dont mind too much, but I hope this bug will be solved too.

Glad that your original problem got sorted. I'm also playing on the "preview" branch, it's a lot of fun and changes get in there quicker!
