Does it have new translations? I really want to get into this game, but after the second day everything is just gibberish.

I believe there was an ongoing english translation by fans.
However I think it has been on hiatus.

Does anyone have the translation files?

The bad translation is also the problem which keeps me from buying it. If a native english speaking person can't understand the text properly, how can I as a non native english speaking person understand that? The game needs a proper translation.

So it's the same old horrible translation? Come on, GOG, that's just sloppy. Here's hoping something will actually be done, because the developer is great and their games are fascinating.

About five years ago, I actually managed to plow my way through a good two-thirds of Bachelor Dankovsky's scenario. Sure, it was one hell of a slog trying to progress with nothing but the shoddy translation as a guide, but not entirely impossible. Still, a fan-translation would be wonderful, as this is a decent game.

The english translation in Pathologic you can compare with the german translation in Games from Paradox Interactive (for example Crusader Kings II). The gameplay is really good, but the translation is bad. Without fanmade translations it's really awful to play.

Lack of russian translation is the only thing that stopped me from buying it. At least adding a proper translated english version would be enough.

Aww man, that's great to hear that at least one translation was good, maybe time for a german to english rather than russian to english. Prehaps that'll lead to a more understandable experience.

I would really welcome existing Czech translation. I contacted Czech distributor TopCD but they ignored my question. I guess Czech serious business is problematic as usual. :(

Hat noch jemand die Deutsche Version ausprobiert? Ich möchte das Spiel auf Deutsch versuchen zu spielen, wenn es besser wäre als die Englische Version. Ich finde hier im Forum nur eine Reaktion und weiter im Internet scheint auch niemand diese Frage zu beantworten.
