When i first started playing this game, I found that whenever a cut scene is playing, if I adjusted the volume on my computer (via a button on my keyboard) the cut scenes automatically skipped. I know the first answer I'm going to get is "just don't change the volume", but I really want to find out if I can stop this problem. This has happened to me in other games I've played, but i guess this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Can someone please help me on how i can adjust volume while not affecting the game?

By using a keyboard shortcut sounds like you are triggering windows sound settings, which the game might also be detecting as a keyboard prompt to skip (some games let you skip the cut scene). As it isn't just this game and if you have the money I'd suggest some amplified speakers with a volume button on them. Use that to adjust the volume and not via windows where the game picks it up as a keyboard press.
