I'm trying to finish Andrei's quest where you help him escape on a train, but he's not showing up. I talked to the guards, killed them, and waited till well after 10, but he's still not here.

...and while I'm not sure I should ask, considering spoilers, but is it a good idea t do this quest?

I haven't played Bachelor for a long time, but I'm fairly certain none of those people can escape, regardless of whether you kill the guards or not. All NPCs with pictures are essential characters, so they can't leave on day 2 already; I'll tell you no more. You can ask them later why they didn't show up. But regarding sidequests, it's always good to do them all as they always benefit you. There are only one or two sidequests that present you with a difficult choice, but I think they're in Haruspicus' scenario.

Ah, okay. The official walkthrough made it sound like Andrei would at least show up.
