Why did they make a mess out of this?? Between season 1 and season 2, and not naming the packs in the extended versions.. I have no clue what to buy to get everything. These bundles are supposed to make it easier for us, not harder. Can anyone tell me which bundles and packs and stuff I need to buy, to get all of the content?

So I should just ignore the Mythic Edition?

With the way the prices are rounded when the current discount is applied the bigger Editions are 1 cent more expensive than buying the base edition + upgrade packs.
And if you don't need the Commander Edition goodies, the normal Edition + Season Pass 1 gives you the best price.

How exactly does the "Mythic Edition" factor into the breakdown of what needs to be bought in order to acquire all of the content?

And another question: how many "Season Passes" are they going to make for this game, exactly?

And yet another question: how many DLCs are they going to make for this game, exactly?

The answers given so far have IMO only added to the confusion, not removed it.

I believe that the Mythic Edition:
* Does include Season Pass 1
* Does not include Season Pass 2

Therefore, if you want the currently available content, I believe that buying the Mythic Edition and Season Pass 2 should be enough. (Or, alternatively, instead of buying Season Pass 2, you could buy DLC 4 and 5, but be aware that it won't get you DLC 6 when it does release.)
