Hello!

I am playing on a MacBook and don't have unlimited space, so when I play new games I have to uninstall the old ones and then reinstall them when the time comes for me to continue or replay them.

WotR was working well for me about 4-5 months ago. I had no problems with installing or play it. Now, however, I can't install it anymore.

If I try to install it through GoG Galaxy it stops at 92% and no matter how many times I try to retry the installation, it doesn't budge from 92% and then it quickly fails.

I downloaded the offline backup and tried to install it from there. However the installation program glitches and doesn't start. So I can't install it that way either.

I have a serious itch to continue my crusade. Am I the only one experiencing these troubles? I'm playing the vanilla enhanced edition. Is there something wrong with the patch or can I fix the problem somehow?

For what it's worth I'm using the Windows version (2.2.4p) on Linux. I was able to install it OK via Galaxy.
Unfortunately I don't have any way of testing the Mac version out.

Did you try the offline-installer?

M1 MacBook Pro with Mac OS 13.6.4

NOTE:

After installation I've imported installed game folder to GOG and GOG immediately installed 2.5 GB update.

After that I've tried to run the game and it works

I had the same issue, always stuck at 92%. Then I downloaded it directly from the website and the download worked. However it will not install, I get an error message stating 'pathfinder__wrath_of_the_righteous_enUS_mac_2_2_1a_585_release_.pkg could not be opened because Apple can't check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated, contact the developer for more information.'

I opened a ticket at GOG also, with this info, but no updates yet from their side.

P.S: I actually tried this earlier as well. But the installer was unresponsive for a few minutes so I thought it was bugged. However it did open after waiting a bit. But I wouldn't have had the patience to wait it out if I didn't know it worked for ya'll.
