Hello!

Pretty much the title. Dhampir appeals to me the most. Oread looks interesting. When I heard kitsune was going to be a playable race, I rolled my eyes and thought it would be weeb fuel. Looking at the model and portraits, it seems that is not the case. I also like foxes, so I'll probably get around to trying it out.

Lots of choices to be sure. The only thing I would have done, is put the portrait choice after choosing sex and race as it is now it was a little confusing for me because I thought I was choosing a race and was wondering what kind of skills and attributes I would be looking at. I eventually went with a half-elf lol, because of the varied choices and the bonuses they get. Additionally, I think the character creator in general is a bit intimidating because of the classes and sub classes. There seems to be a lot of classes that might be interesting to play in a PNP session but I am not sure they would really be of benefit in a computer game.
I find all the new races interesting, I had a hard time deciding what to play especially when adding all the new classes onto that. I ended making 2 saves one last night and one today with different characters. An Oread (gem) paladin of Saerane, and a Kitsune witch. I was going to make the paladin a dhampir just for giggles, but I didn't find a portrait included with the game that really fit what I was hoping for.I didn't really feel like trying to install custom portraits either.

Just getting into playing the Kitsune today and when I was in the character creator I noticed under feats that the Kitsune can gain up to nine magic tails each one granting a new spell like ability it seems like. I wonder if the character it self changes in appearance or if it justs acts as a feat.

I would like more portraits too. I made a kitsune ranger named Robin (as in the Disney movie). I would like a portrait that better reflects this. There is a sort of portrait to this, but the kitsune portrait is female, and her fur is white (Robin Hood was a red fox).

Oh I wish I had though of that I loved the movie as a kid and that sounds kind of fun. That portrait is the one I used for my witch. Even though the portrait was leaning more rogue or bard (maybe) I loved the over all attitude it projected, fit my sly deception witch well.
