Search where Terendelev died. This points me to the Market Square. On one save I found the storyteller after I cleared the Market Square. I found some post on another board that if you do this before you get the Storyteller, it will bug. So I went to an old save and opened the path to the library, went directly to save the storyteller, then back to the inn, talked to everyone there, then went back to the market square.

I've been clicking around the place for an hour now. I'm pretty sure I've clicked on every pixel on the map. I have no idea where Terendelev died and haven't found anything. I rescued Ember and she's in my party ... Can you just storm the Garrison without this part? Seems like it's bugged out for my save and I don't want ot do this all over.

I could just be dense and haven't found where this is on the market map, so if someone could provide a screen shot that would help me figure out what is up with this save.

Please submit us a bug report, as that behavior is strange and looks like a bug. You can do so by pressing ALT+B

In reality, you don't need to find the exact place Terendelev died. What you're looking for is a huge blood trail that leads out of the district. Somewhere along that route there's a magnifying glass icon that give you some information.

Not that you need it-- What you need is one of the scales you found at the beginning of the Kenabres underground. He'll go back through T's life and how she wound up where she was when Deskari killed her dead.

As far as clearing Market Square, I cleared ti before going to Blackwing, and I didn't have any issues. Last thing I did there was rescuce the Thieflings to reveal the hidden passage to the Garrison, right before I blew the roof off the bloody place.

I got stuck at this part too. The point you're looking for is a bit south of the large Terendelev blood trail. Look for a broken tower there will be an interaction point close by that will start a story sequence.

Though re reading your question, (Specifically the part saying you have no idea where Terendelev died) I have to ask if you've opened up the main part of the market square yet? There's a point along the ravine (in a corner) that'll allow you to build a bridge if you haven't....
