Be warned that GOG could not handle preordering of anything than standart editions well.

Until today the GOG store does not acknowledge my preordered Obsidian edition from Pillars of Eternity II,
bought in 2018.

I can see all the content as downloads in my library, but officially (at the shop) I do not own the obsidian edition and
can buy everything except the standart edition again. (Thanks?)
This is just not a very good feeling to have, since the obsidian edition was expensive, and the shop not knowing
I own this is annoying and could mean trouble anytime ahead.

Customer support answered it had to be manually done to flag all the preorder accounts and that it would be
too much of a hassle.
To me this is not a decent practice to handle it.
If this is still the case, it has to be adressed.

Please consider very well, before handing out so much money, how you might be treated with your product afterwards.
I like to buy the games I play on GOG, but not the pre-orders if this is still/ever happening again.

Update August: I won't buy the pre-order on GOG, it doesn't look like there was anything done
to get rid of the issue.

Same here. Pillars, Pathfinder. Says, I have plain versions. I have all the DLC though.

I still don't understand why people pre order.

The prices keeps going up for games that are more and more bad quality and will be filled with DLC to death and patches.
Often even in the GOTY editions will be broken.

A quick search will reveal that all preorder exclusives have been released at one point.

Oh, I remember the PS4 eaxclusive coming to PC a couple of years down the line, for example.

These days I wait 'till a game is feature complete as in ALL content is published and the game is clear of gameplay breaking bugs.

I'm just too old to play unpayed beta tester.

I prefer to be a beta tester who pays, so I backed Kickstarter for the edition that gives access to both the alpha and the beta. I did not play that much, but the game is amazing, and, judging by the beta, could be released more polished than the initial release of Kingmaker.

Now tell me how to spend my money.

I am in "same boat" and wondering how this will actually work eventually.
I have "all what you can get" from Kingmaker but GoG do not really realize that I have even the game.

So I wonder what will happen this time. I assume that I will get "Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Commander Edition" but because I get key's from Owlcatgames GoG will not realize in they shop that I have all the files and the game. I can still download and play it. Just open the question will there be seperately sold Season Pass (and can I buy it?) and if there will be will my account let me buy it if I have "all the content" but still shop do not show it (I can install and use them still like in Kingmaker or other games).

Now when I check what shop show and do not show it seem that I have all the "extra content" but I do not seem to have "Royal Ascension DLC, Enchanted Plus Edition or Imperial Edition Bundle". So I seem to have in my library: Beneath The Stolen Lands, The Wildcards, Varnhold's Lot, Arcane Unleashed, Season Pass Bundle and Bloody Mess". What is kind of curious because it mean that at a shop's eyes I do NOT have base game. But when I go for my library I can see EVERYTHING what is released for the game.

I guess time will tell, just hoping that if need to I can just contact some of the workers here and they deal with it.

@count i got the full version becuase i liked kingmaker so much,and was willing to invest in all that, am i going to have these same issues?
