With seemlingly so many players already finished the game at least once: who managed to see the Ascencion Ending without using a guide, by purely finding out about it by themselves?

Obviously: spoilers ahead

Those who do not know about it and do not mind spoilers can try aiming for it using the guide which is also available on Neoseeker: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2597672484

I am amazed by how much more sense some scenes make on my second playthrough and how many hints there are actually to be found towards that special ending -starting with the intro- when you are able to add the puzzle pieces together. The only thing which bugs me about it is the pseudo time limit.

Probably not too many, if not none...I think the whole path was found via data mining to begin with. That path is super specific and the time limit means you probably are not going to be able to do it on levels above core without using something like ToyBox.
Fascinating as this is, it looks like a lot of hassle. I'm all for putting in some work and getting a "special" ending but this is a bit too much to just randomly run into. Having said all that, I'm probably going to try this with a Lich at some point. My Trickster had other plans for the end though :)
