I just bought the game today and version 1.4.1a was installed which is a beta version. How can I install and play a non-beta version?

I suspect it isn't actually anything to do with beta, but instead a bug in the hot-fix. I started up the game myself, I have to the best of my knowledge not agreed to any beta-ing.
And yet, there's a note in the bottom left corner of my game that says,

TEST 1.4.1a

Same here. Can't seem to disable the 'bug report' button or the version text on the left.

Of course, the "bug report" button, while exceedingly annoying, did allow for a nice way to complain about the issue. To wit, send a bug report about the button and the text!

Ok, so, having done some digging, I found out that, the thing is hide-able with F11.
Now, why it wasn't hid from the start, why it wasn't made very clear that this is the case, etc....well, I can only assume incompetence. But, there it is.

Again, hit F11 to remove the bug-reporting overlay.
