Just to make sure I'm reading it correctly: it boils down to basicly making one attack per round, but it doing double/triple/quadruple damage?

So a +3 Fauchard with Mythic Power Attack, 22 STR and Improved Vital Strike would do (1d10+3+9+15)*3 damage??

I'm not sure on the math. But it certainly adds a lot of damage for a melee character.
