Anyone know if there's a trick to getting the in game DLC items like the Plumed Hat? I didn't see it on the starting gear.

Hey!

After leaving the cave early in the game, head to the tavern and open the chest. The DLC items are stored there.

I'm a Kickstarter Backer.

I downloaded and installed the game (1.0.0p)
Then downloaded and installed the DLC's (Pre-order DLC/Commander Pack/Premium Digital Download DLC)
Then downloaded and installed the Patch (1.0.0p to 1.0.0s)

I'll try a new install later today.

Is there a way to verify if the items are activated?

I know that GOG has a game file verification option, similar to Steam, you should try it.

UP: I also got a suggestion to check the chest in Chapter 2

UP2: We are rolling out an update today, please check again after you got it!

I verified the files before installing(I don't use GOG Galaxy, but the offline installer)
Is there a way to check in-game, or in the game files?

Did a clean install of 1.0.1c

Reloaded an old save before arriving at the Tavern, and the items were present in the personal chest.
