AS882010M0: Yes, I play Skyrim too but the lack of definition of the 4 basic classes is ruining that as an RPG.
alcaray: TES games the classless system is considered a selling point. Some don't like being able to do anything they want.

I can start with a Fighter and buy traits & skills, make it a Rogue & retain my fighter specs..
OR Dual Class. Though I like the "skill by use" leveling of skills, there should be things you were not taught to do, so if Skyrim put lockpicking behind a Level up point spent, when you choose fighter, I'd be ok with that. But not everything open off the start, and mage requiring say 3 different skills bought before you can use spells, if you didn't start as a mage.
