I hope someone can help me with my question.

I managed to battle through the flesh market after not wanting to pay for Suture's freedom. But once everyone and everything which was hostile to me is dead, I could not find him anymore.

I put so much effort to use spells not harming anyone else but the enemies (single target, controlled fireballs, and alike)

I also did not remember he got hit and there was no corpse of him either to find or loot.

Could he been killed by enemies' spells? Or is he supposed to vanish somehow?

During the battle I managed to escape the area and recover at the nexus. Could that make him vanish or somehow change the liberation "quest"/act in some sort?

Suture reappeared next to his (former) master again by the end of the act/chapter. Alive and healthy. Still weird how he dissapeared.
