Now on to the fun questions.*

I am an experienced paper and pencil roleplaying gamer. I am familiar with PF1 and PF2. I also have played the previous Owlcat product, Kingmaker.

So I know that there are changes that means PF PnP <> PF Owlcat.

That said I'm actually asking from someone who likes story and exploring. Which class did you find that you enjoyed and had the best (at least so far) experience in getting involved from a story standpoint?

I'm thinking that given the theme of the original Adventure Path, a Paladin would be the way to go. However given that there are vastly more options...what did you folks go with that worked?

I'm most likely going to have multiple playthroughs but just wanted some input from those who went before :)

Cheers and happy gaming!

From a story standpoint... I would say sorceress or bard based versatility and that you can build very well your party based on the available companions around them.

My best playthrough was sorceress who went the good Angel mythic path. Second to that Azata. The mythic path clearly have a big influence on your experience.

Fighter/Paladin are not bad, but seemingly not very fitting storywise on the long term - though that is because I know of spoilers.

My advice: pick what you like most, how you would imagine your character best. There are very little points in the story which makes it feel unfit.

By the end of the day it will be always a personal preference and entirely based on your manifold choices you make throughout the game.
