I am visually impaired, and have to use the screen magnifier built in to Win10. In Kingmaker it worked except during turn-based combat. There it stopped following the cursor.

Would someone please try using the Win10 magnifier in WOTR in and out of turn-based combat and let me know if it has the same issue?
If tested the magnifier in turnbased and non-turnbased combat in the Steam version and both worked. The view jumps a bit in turn-based combat when focusing the next character but I would say it's playable.

I'm on the Windows 11 preview build though, I hope there is no difference to the Windows 10 magnifier tool.

Thank you. This is encouraging.

If someone could try it in Win10, just to make sure, it would be greatly appreciated.

In Kingmaker turn-based combat did something to the cursor that made the magnifying software stop following it. I'm really hping WoTR works better for me.

Not sure if you're still looking for an answer bit I have played around with it for a bit on Win10 and it seems to work ok. Mind you I don't normally use it but it seems indeed playable.
The only thing that's a bit bugged for me is when you increase the in-game text size to max. It resets to normal after you quit and restart the game.
