As ridiculous the amount of patches for this game is, the patch provisioning for the offline installers worked somewhat well so far.

But as i went about to install the latest patch, it told me that the patch does not match the installed version!
And indeed, after a closer look, i noticed that the patch i downloaded is 1.08c to 1.09c.

Now i have a problem, since my game version is 1.08b, and i cannot install the latest patch.

Has anyone seen this patch?

Noticed this discrepancy as well while downloading.

Frankly, I'm backing away from this game for a good, long time. I'm tired of trying to keep pace with the patches (while I applaud Owlcat's Herculean effort to fix things up). Another couple of months and I'll check back and just download the full game files again and, with any luck, the patching cycle will be back to less insane levels by then.
I opened a GOG ticket and sent Owlcat an email. Not sure how quickly it will be fixed or if it will be fixed at all.

In the meantime, you can download the current install, uninstall, and reinstall to get current again.

Interesting, but not helpful.

My internet is slow.
And the way the game is patched, i cannot be sure if the version tomorrow is still the same as now. And since GoG, in their infinite wisdom, decide to immediately update the main installer with each and every patch, i am risking having to start over.
Since i have Galaxy installed due to the pathing fiasco that is Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition (there are no offline patches provided for that game at all) i used it to check on Kingmaker.
Galaxy does not even recognize the game version and want to download more than 8 GB...
