My main is a paladin/fighter. I went 5 levels of fighter just for heavy blades weapon training only to discover the gloves of dueling and weapon training itself don't appear to calculate into the attack, according to the tool tip.

Every other modification appears as warranted included a miscellaneous bonus from a helmet to offset combat expertise, and combat expertise itself.

Dpn't know if this is the case but some bonuses do not show on the character sheet.
not the case. fighter weapon training is fubar. will be fixed sometime. maybe.
you can make it turn on at lvl 9 depending what secondary you take. don't ask me how it works. same with fighting defensively except you have to click it every combat

LOL; a five level dip for a broken class feature. Oh well.

So you think at lvl 9 I can force it? Happen to know what the functional level cap is?

depending if you have experience sharing or not. with exp sharing you will end at level 18 if you do literally everything and can grind up to 19. with experience sharing off you can get to 20 reliably.

basically how fighter thing works is it turns on if you select some specific thing for 2nd proficiency. will have to reload a bit to figure which one it would be. I honestly would recommend to just respec with a mod you can find on the nexus till fighter will be fixed.
fighter is pretty meh anyways, except for aldori 9 and even that is not spectacular.
