So will completing Varnhold´s lot do anything good for my main protagonists perspective(loot, skills and so on) or is it just another story to explore? :) Just wondering since I am playing through the game my 2nd time now and Im enjoying my monk/vivi/knife master a lot and just coming up to varnhold vanishing so wondering if it is worth it to take a break from main playthrough and plow through varnholds lot? :)

you get some story and some good items you can buy from a goblin vendor for main campaign. Varnhold story is serviceable(although really anticlimactic) and is a nice change of pace. Also wings for vivisectionists, duh. I mean if you already have it - might as well beat it. "Plowing" might be a bit hard as the difficulty curve of the DLC is a bit higher than main campaign

Thanks, read that there is a +5 oversized bastard sword somewhere in the varnholds lot thing but did not find it, did not have pick locks so missed tons of chests so guess it were in one of them?

I didn't really pay attention to the loot, but I don't believe oversized sword was in the chest. It's more likely hidden behind perception check. I really don't remember what I got there, I guess I need to do it again with min-maxed search party;

Yeah thinking of going through it with a Rogue and have my main playthrough be a invurnable rager barbarian, would be nice to know that I can get an awesome weapon around midgame already. :)
