So Linzi came and told me that there is trouble with the militia in varnhold and I got a quest to go to varnhold to check it out, but when I came there and talked to the militia lady she just says that everything is fine, is this a bug or is there some other unknown npc I need to talk to?

Do you have the latest patch?
Because it should be solved now. I was there, and it worked, as it should.
