I cannot get my game to update to latest 2.1.7 Does not show up on Galaxy, they are not available in manual download files, nowhere?
I just have the base game - do I need to have the DLCs?
While I did not update the game from 2.1.5d to this version the option also has disappeared for me as well. Going to assume it was pulled due to bugs reported (though Steam still has it @2.1.7)

From what I've seen, on GOG it has been reverted. It had been updated to 2.1.7 and then it went back to 2.1.5d.
Got it - thanks guys!
I was banging my head against the wall :)
2.1.7b is now available :)
Still not available for manual download.
So is this normal for this game? How long do we have to wait tio get the update usually?

Update 2.1.7b has been available for offline installation since the end of the previous week. Those who wanted to update the game did it; those who want to complain are complaining.
I just had the weirdest thing happen to me. The game was in 2.1.7a and working great. Then I went to sleep now the game has reverted back to its 2.1.5d state.

Yes, it looks like they reverted the update again! What a mess!
version 2.1.7b replaced version 2.1.7a.

there is no patch to update from either 2.15d ---> 2.17b, or from 2.17a ---> 2.17b

You must re-install the entire game, and the updated DLC for v2.17b...

Seriously folks, stop using GOG Galaxy, and take control of your own installs, updates, patches ect..
Also, there is no "mess".

Here are the patch notes for 2.1.7b:

Some premium edition and DLC items did not appear in the game. Resolution: fixed.
Sometimes incorrect messages about effect immunity appeared in the log. Resolution: fixed.

I think if a patch erroneously disables some DLC and spams the combat log with false messages then a responsible developer would roll it back, fix the errors, and push the next version. Owlcat Games did exactly that.

I have to say this is the very first time I've seen Galaxy confused like this. First Galaxy updated me to 2.1.7a, then it reverted back to 2.1.5d. Checking in Galaxy further the latest version now offered under Configure is "2.1.5d 8 months ago"...2.1.7b is nowhere to be found in Galaxy, at the time of this writing.

...but, the manual files are for 2.1.7b...! Bizarre...with over three hundred Galaxy games installed, this is the first time I've seen this. Usually I update and install through Galaxy, and launch the games from their own executables. I only download the manual files for my own backup copy of the games I keep separately from the games themselves, and I won't download the manual files until a game has been patched finally, for the last time (otherwise I'd be constantly downloading manual install files!).

Now I'm wondering if the manual 2.1.7b files I'm downloading now will be replaced!

I really like this game! Far more than I thought I might at first--just my kind of game, actually...;) As I understand, the developer, Owlcat in this case, is responsible for the Galaxy patches whereas GOG does the manual file backups, and usually the Galaxy updates are applied before the same update hits the manual files, as it is GOG who configures the manual download files. Obviously, something is wrong--maybe Owlcat pulled the Galaxy version--in which case it probably means something is out of whack with the manual files, too.

A changelog readme from Owlcat in this forum would not be remiss!

I tried to reinstall the game with the manual files twice and Galaxy just auto-updates it to the previous versions. It's quite the oddity. I am moreso confused as to why it's not working for galaxy but seems to be working fine on steam.
Please update Linux version to 2.1.7 as well!!!!
