So got my real pen and paper group going again and were thinking of going from 5e to Pathfinder and were wondering if any of you fine folk know how similar Pathfinder 2e is to original Pathfinder. :)

It's a complete remake. Pathfinder 2E and 1E are really only similar in lore. Multi-classing is completely changed and many classes are completely revamped. pathfinder 2E is closer to 5E or 4E D&D than 3.5/1E.
