I don't know if anyone noticed this or reported (since there are 9 pages of threads here :P ) but each and every time I save the game after buffing my party, and then load after a lost fight, all the buffs are reset as if a lowes possible lvl character had cast it.
Example - I have 10 lvl right now. So if Octavia casts Mage Armor, it shoudl persist fo 10 hours. But if I save and then take a load - it will only last 1h. The same goes for barkskin and other spells, but not only in terms of duration but also in the aspect of "power" of the spell.
Let's take the barkskin. As a 10th lvl druid, whenever I cast barkskin on my and my bear, we both get +4 AC bonus to natural armor and the duration for the spell is 100 minutes or 1h 40m. After I save and load - the duration drops to 30 minutes and the AC bonus drops to +2. As if I am a 3lvl druid.
This makes every "heavy encounter" additionally troublesome cause I have to save BEFORE casting buffs, and then I have to go through "re-casting" them each and every time.
Not to mention, that with loong duration spells like Magical Fang or Barkskin there is the additional draw back that I already cast the spell a while ago, and after a quick load when a bad luck in roll resulted in a killed character, I loose all the additional benefits of my higher level
