Ekundayo leaves and I couldn't get Harrim to finish his companion quest because the interior of the ruins was cut off.

Also I'm not sure how to ress anyone that he kills during the fight.

Huh. For me, Ekundayo stayed but he and Valerie were unhappy. Ruins weren't cut off, so Harrim's quest finished with the anvil thing. You got the option to spare Hargulka by killing Tartuk, and taking NG conversation options?

Yes. Keeping in mind that this was back pre 1.04 so I dunno what has been changed. but as soon as i picked to spare Hargulk and have him swear loyalty to me, it loaded out of the ruins and into the courtyard, there was a chest with a bunch of loot in it, and Hargulka was talking at me to thank me.

The first time I did it I left two comrades dead on the floor of the chamber we fought in and there was no way I could find to get back to them to ressurect them.

... i guess, this decision (to cut of the fortress) is because otherwise you would have to change the whole map again, which means more work...

The same is with the elk temple. If you fix it via project list, the only thing changes, is that then some pilgrim and a merchant is there. Great change. For this you pay 100 BP? 150?, (i am not sure at the moment). Plus, your advisor is blocked for 2 months. Yeeah, Great.
