I want to know if it's possible to play with only 4 characters ? ( difficulty normal or + )

If yes, do you have some ideas for the party composition ? ( for exemple the " standard " Fighter / cleric / wizard / rogue )

If the game is soloable on unfair it's beatable however else.
as for the party... Something like melee bard(MC)/sylvan sorc/erastil cleric/alchemist(Jubi is fine and has the best camping ability) would do alright. Mostly straight classes apart from a few power dips into vivi for cognatogen for casters. Melee bard is bit trickier and too long to explain. Depends on what exactly you'd want of him.

If you somehow despise community domain for how cheesy it is, one might go MC melee sorc(or saint or trip vivi or whatever other top tier melee you like)/melee bard(val is ffine)/Gozreh cleric/alchemist

melee MC/Melee bard/gozreh/arcane bomber is kinda fine too.

Basically, you just condense roles or take stuff that turbo-boosts others and that's that.

One also might opt for a pure bard with fascinate for control and support, but there are loads of stuff that are flat immune to it, so I hate it. Conjuerers of different stripes are objectively better.

That's how unfair parties usually compile more or less, except I like taking 2 memelords for the ride.

Now I'm just thinking about what would Memelord prestige class be like...

Ha! Yea, We need 2 prestige classes. 'Memelord' and 'Edgelord' for magical and martial classes respectedly. The former would have abilities like 'bestow dank memes' and 'copypasta of doom'. The latter should sport 'the edge of cool' and 'They see me brooding, they hating'
There should also be a 3rd one named 'Gaylord'. I'll leave the abilities to your imagination.

Cute... not very clever but cute, something one of my highschool Freshmen would've come up with.

As to the OP, the game definitely is doable with a party of 4, even if the player doesn't have enough familiarity with the game mechanics to solo Unfair (we can't all aspire to be the demigod of cleverness that is InEffect). It may start off more challenging if you're new to the game but eventually the increased rate of earning XP with shared XP turned off will start to add up and you'll level faster.

Something to do with boxes, I reckon.

I like the "octabin" thing on the right. Sounds like a name for a spell.

for my 4 party i think in this team : ( i do not want to play Unfair. I prefer challenging ( max hard )

1/ tank/DD : Aldori def 8 / Scaled fist 1 / Thug 4 / duelist 7 ( dex build tank /DD )
2 / Tank/DD : Eldritch scion 5 / scaled fist 1 / Dragon disciple 4 / Eldritch Knight 10 ( a 2H magus ... )
3 / Healer : ?
4 / Bard : ?

For the healer and for the bard, i don't find any build that fit correctly in my idea of team.

Do you have some ideas ?
