I am not sure what is going on, i have just started the game and am looking in the options menu, and i noticed that it randomly scrolls down. Any mouse movement may trigger the random scrolling even if my cursor is not over the scroll bar.

Random horizontal scrolling also occurs when i move the mouse. For example, im on the "controls" menu screen now and if i move the mouse around, not only does it scroll down, but the horizontal slider for "keyboard scrolling speed" also randomly slides to the left. The default is 50 for keyboard scrolling speed, and moving my mouse around on the screen can cause it to randomly decrease from 50 to 48 (and lower as long as i keep moving the mouse around).

I have never seen any other applications have this weird scrolling behaviour before and there is nothing wrong with my mouse. Does anyone know whats going on?

I did a search and can find videos showing the same weird scrolling bug dating back to 2018. The game has been out for years at this point, how is this not fixed?

This happens with me too, but not every time for some reason. The game also randomly (or seemingly so) changes values of sound and suchlike when I'm in those menus, so it's not just about the weird scrolling. I need to return values to default before exiting the screen, otherwise all kinds of weird stuff will be saved.

Don't know if this could be relevant, but I'm on the Linux version (which they STILL haven't bothered to upgrade to the latest version of the game. After what... two years?)
