I was excited when I first heard about this game then I started looking at reviews here, on steam and some of the gaming sites. Some of the concerns is about how if you don't know the rule set (I have mostly used D&D 3.5 and Shadowrun for table top sessions) thing will be frustrating as the game doesn't seem to do a good job of explaining thing. I have also heard reports of a lot of loading screens I don't mind them if used sparingly (although I would love to see the industry go in a more open design) but if they are excessive it really begins to turn me off a game. I quit playing Pillars of Creation because every time I turned around I seemed to be watching a loading screen. How bad of an issue do you feel it is in this game?

loading screens are a thing. But they are not so bad if you install cleaner mod.

if you are used to 3.5 it won't be that much different, but it's true that the game is not exactly doing a good job of explaining the systems in place.

nonetheless, this game is the best cRPG made in the last decade or so.

Well... duh. And I stated mine.

I have it installed on an SSD and the loading screens aren't that bad. Plus the devs tried to optimize them a few patches back.

Game still has lots of bugs though, so fair warning about that. Gotta save often and in different slots.

having great difficulty playing this game. when I 1st tried to load it it kept freezing so Iuninstalled and loaded it again, and it played. Just tried to play and it won't load dont want to uninstall and reinstall as I will loose my game. Not impressedat all

You won't lose your game. Saves are stored separately.

I've seen a few stories where someone said they can't progress with their saves. Spooked me in to restarting multiple times. I'm sure it's fine now, though.

That can happen because of mods. Otherwise, it should be fine.

You stated it as if it were fact. We all know your bias.

Yes, there are loading screens and they are unaviodable , I recommend you defrag the game files or install the game on a SSD drive to save you the time.

It would be a shame to miss out on this game becase of it :)
