Mild early spoilers ahead

When Valerie gets the first letter to go to Oleg and it ends up in a duel, both are tanks, both have extremely high AC, they stand there miss, miss, miss, hit for 4 damage, he heals, miss miss miss, hit for 5 damage, he heals.

I mean what were they thinking?! Make the guy a 2h beater or something, nothing worse than watching two tanks beating on eachother with little to no effect for like 30 years. -.-

My first time it was like this:

Valerie: Hit- 8 damage
Fredero: Miss

Valerie: Miss
Fredero: Hit - 22 damage

The most annoying companion quest is the one that comes with a rampaging giant. You'll know it when you see it.

Sparing the giant is a mistake you don't make twice.

Unless there was supposed to be some payoff for it that I never discovered?

How so? Found Ekun´s companion quests easy and straight forward?

quests are easy, mechanically. the problem is ekun himself. I literally hate everything about him.

Hate is a bit strong a word I guess, he is the only well built non player character but is boring as bland personality wise aye. :(

I found Linzi's first the most annoying. The location of the quest is illogical.

She specifically tells you she bought the item and it's being shipped from Brevoy which is North. Logically it should be somewhere North or Northwest of the capital. How's it end up South of your location? She could've said Mivon or Pitax, either would've made sense and given you a correct idea where to look.

Its a magical fantasy world, ofc they teleported it to said location to then cart it up to the capital. ;)

I really enjoyed this one.
After a few defeats I was thinking whether you can actually win it or not.
But... you need to get a bit clever with it.
When I finally got it, it didn't really take that long, maybe 3-4 minutes.
But we all have our tastes... I just think raging about a game that can get quite clever is...
Just got to stop and think, I think that just deserves some credit :P
