Just wanted to know about the main story quest the one where you have a bear treant, I am playing on normal difficulty so nothing crazy expected.

Now for the bear, this thing one shots a level 3 warrior tank, decimates everything else, stuns and then shits on anything else as well. Its got a high AC and DR on top of it and sucks only to cold steel.

How do you possibly do this encounter, its wiping me with a party of 6.


EDIT : Completed it in the most cheese way I can imagine, this is not what the PnP would have allowed for but whatever, these encounters are way to overtuned for being the main story. Also all that for a measly 67XP.

Newest patch bugged it and some other monster which doubles the bonus AC given.

Thank you for mentioning that, I was going out of my mind wondering what was this crazy difficulty spike when I was enjoying everything else with a little intuition so far.
