Hey, I'm looking into starting a Mad Dog Barbarian and I'm wondering if it's possible to be a Tank so far for the race I was thinking ether human or half-orc and what would be a good pet to pick as well?

As a pure level 20 Mad Dog

A offtank? maybe

A tank? no

It will be a lot easier to make your pet a tank or a offtank then your mad dog. If you really want the Mad Dog to be the tank, then some multiclassing will be needed.

It's doable, but would have to be done past midgame when you can feasibly get oak's pelt. And you obviously need the varn dlc and have completed it. Question would be 'why?' as you'd have to give up the only redeeming factor of the class for it(as in lethal focus) and others do the job far better.
