I am really stuck on trying to find a treasurer for my town. I have read the posts regarding Jubilost and going to the Ford across Skunk River. I never found him there, and I have defeated the trolls. There is no wagon there at all. For me it has become a game-breaking problem, as I can't continue with any of the projects related to the economy. I even tried making a mercenary with a high intelligence, but they have a -4 penalty as an advisor. Any other suggestions? A step-by step way to solve this problem would be greatly apprciated. I have already acquired another reqion, but he still has not show up anywhere. Thanks. Pretty desperate. Daemon.

If you have the Wildcards DLC, a new companion is added that can serve this role.

If Bartholomew Delgado is still alive, it's possible to invite him to join your kingdom if you haven't angered him to the point that he leaves the region. He can serve as a treasurer as well.

Finally, if you complete the Varnhold Vanishing main quest, you can rescue Maegar Varn and appoint him as a treasurer.

Otherwise, if Jubilost is no longer available you'll need to use a mercenary and cope with the inherent stat penalty. I believe Jubilost can be missed if you take too long to start the Troll Trouble quest. Unfortunately, many quests have hidden timers such as this; the game world does not wait at your leisure.
