Hickory: Just be aware of what it is you're listening to when you hear "experts" say "git gud" or "it's easy".

InEffect: easy is not the way I'd describe it. Manageable would be the word.
Also I am usually able to pinpoint what whoever asks does wrong. But general 'git gud' sometimes is the answer. Some people just can't accept they do need buffs and reasonable spell/feat selection along with a bit of micro to go through the game comfortably. There are also "I've played all RPG's on hardest difficulty blind for 20 years and refuse to go lower" types. The latter are much worse than just new guys and can't be really helped.
You know the worst types? Those who think that everybody should play by their standards.

I never said anyone should not play whatever they want. I am against the whines when the poorly thought-out character fails. And they be like "game is trash because my 5 int RP wizard is not viable."
last time I checked the characters looked "sedated" when you gave commands in a large group of enemies. and the "Charge" command doesn't often work(even when you do it correctly and there is a clear line of site). some of your "companions" do more than you tell them. when you want to "See' a sub race or class in the character generation screen you just made you will find that either difficult or impossible say you wish to review what "kind" of aasimar you originally chose and maybe you made a mistake and wanted the other sub race. that is also true of sub class review. if you want clear defined features of your subclasses laid out forget it. this isn't as clear as say, Baldur's Gate II or Never Winter Nights II was. some combat advantages(in actual gameplay in combat) do not word at all or are just numbers in the stats and do nothing what-so-ever. odd combat rolls some lowball for some character and highball for others more than what I would personally consider "random die role" hmm wonder what the game devs are trying to say... main play character often gets lowballed in die roles in combat. (I do not refer to stat add ons just main role). this happened to me once in Baldur's Gate, but ONLY once during a 3 hour playsession with that game. I restarted and the lowballing quit. that was also in 1999 I mean this is 2019 c'mon people!
as a side note this is on the standard difficulty level. and lowballing is silly on any level. it is the monsters not you that should have role changes. as in "higher" for high and "lower' for low difficulty no role changes at all for any character in standard.
