I went to install the game through Galaxy and every time I get a failed install. I try to reinstall and it still fails. I tried once to start the game from the desktop and it started ok. I did try to use the manual install version but it would not allow me to change the install location to my game drive.

Maybe double check the permissions on the drive and space free. You need quite a bit of free space for GOG installs because the installer doesn't contain full files. It contains fragments that have to be reconstituted on your drive back to full files.
