Hi. So I have a potato for a computer, but it meets the advertised minimum specs (which is why I bought it). I plays loads earlier in the year, but only got about 2/3 of the way through. Recently I re-installed it to pick up where I'd left off, but in the meantime the game has updated to Enhanced Super Bonus Mega Plus version, and all trace of the 2.0 version has disappeared.
The new version I really think doesn't run on the same minimum requirements (even though they still advertise them as the same) as it's now virtually unplayable due to massive mouse lag and slow motion. I tried all of the fixes I've seen on the internet (deleting save files, moving the Rewired_DirectInput.dll file) but nothing worked.
Owlcat have not replied to any of my support requests. I asked GOG if I could reinstall the 2.0.8 version (y'know, the one I bought) but they said no, that's gone forever, too bad for you. (Which really makes me question their "you buy it you own it" principle).
They also suggested asking the forum, so here I am. Does anyone have any ideas? I just want to finish the damn game...
