I started the game as a Ranger so most of my gear has hoods up. Using the Hide Helmet option hides the hood, but leaves the 'helmet-hair' in place. I can't seem to get the hair I chose at character creation to show up at all. If I have 'hide helmet' turned on, even taking everything off won't return my hair to character creation choice. I always have helmet-hair.

use visual adjustments mod. Problem solved.
