Might have run into a bug here. I've been searching the northwest section of the starting map almost two hours and haven't been able to find the Abandoned Hut location that was mentioned in the note to Kressle. After looking it up, it appears that area where it's supposed to pop up is is glitched and doesn't display on the world along with the Oak-That-Strayed area. It's not even that the icons are invisible because I've to the parts of the road where it would fork there and I'm not given the option.

I rebooted my game after experiencing this and the issue persisted. Anyone else experienced this issue? Advice? I would like to avoid starting a new game until I know for sure that would actually fix the problem. I've included an image of the problem.

Edit: Figured out the problem for those who were curious. The Oak-That-Strayed was there all along except it's called "Old Oak" in the full release. The hut was a little more esoteric. Apparently the location won't proc until you physically pick up the note to Kressle at Thorn Ford, even is you already read the note in the loot window. Guess it just doesn't count otherwise.

Is the problem still there, even after the update?

The update improved my map, but destroyed the item usability.
