Anyone else having issues using orc or dwarven weapons, as a orc or dwarf?

Racial weapons are typically Exotic weapons.

Having the racial familiarity feat - orcs, dwarves, elves, gnomes - turns rracially named weapons into Martial weapons. You still have to have Martial weapon access - either through the martial weapon feat or through a class with 1/1 BaB progression which nearly always grants martial weapons proficiency.
