As per the thread title:

I started the project to upgrade my capital from village to town (in version 1.0.7) and when the project finishes I get the Kingdom destroyed popup. I'm in Chapter 2 and at the moment the upgrade project finishes I still have 44 days left before the Chapter 2 main threat destroys the kingdom.
