As the title says when entering the area the FPS drops considerably, in other areas I get 60FPS solid but as soon as I enter the Fangberry Area it drops to 20FPS, after entering the area and getting the drop in FPS if I get back to a previous area the FPS returns to 60.

I've change the graphic setting to the lowest possible yet the FPS doesn't improve.

So i decided to soldier up and continue playing even with the low fps and around the middle of the cave (after the second fight with the giant spiders) the fps returned to 60,

I also have this issue. Ryzen 3600, Ubuntu 20.04. I'm hoping there aren't other areas that behave like this!

EDIT: I also soldiered on through the area and after killing a few spiders inside the cave FPS went back up to 60 suddenly.
