Just got the game a couple days ago. I decided I didn't like the AI so i turned it off (I thought). I double checked and the little brain is blank beside each character. But my folks are still doing stuff I don't want therm to. Like Amiri STARTS every combat by casting renewed vigor on her full health self. My main is a fighter with bull rush. I had to chase a bandit across the field because my main would bull rush on his own, and repeat each time the cool down ended. I saw nothing about the AI in options. Hopefully I'm just missing something??
