So, I've recently put Harrim back into my squad (really needed the energy-protection for a quest or two) and found that he, unlike all the other chars, starts any fight with a targeted Dispel Magic. Which is odd and sorta wrong, on account of me having the settings set to NOT use expendable slots and abilites.

As far as I can tell, he's the only culprit.

I tried activating the use of expendables and back to turn it off, but he seems unaffected. Also, he doesn't use anything else - one DM right off the bat, then starts whacking away at things...

Any help on this?
Is dispel on auto-cast?

A right click on a ability or spell is use to set it to auto-use on/off. You should see the dispel icon in the far left of the quick bar if is set on auto-cast.
No, it's not, I had checked that. Also, he only casts one single DM, then enters close combat. It's really weird all over...
Ok, so update on this:
Even if I stop Harrim from casting using the G key, he will simply start right back up afterwards as soon as I unpause.
I just found that Jubilost will start a battle casting Shield, despite the no-AI-spells setting.

Something seems wrong with your settings then. I use both Harrim and Jubilost in my party and neither of them use any spells, extracts, or other limited-use daily abilities automatically.
Well, I just set the game to allow AI using spells, and test. If that looks to do what it's supposed to, I'll turn the setting back off.

Thanks.
