Not sure if this will help anyone who is still having problems after updating there GOG patches, but I found it wise to re-install all the DLC with the updated DLC files...

This resolved several game problems, after:

EE Install Patch 2.0.0 build (30056)
EE Hotfix Patch 2.0.1 build (30080)
EE Install Patch 2.0.2 build (30152)
EE Install Patch 2.0.3 build (30176) (out 6/11/2019)
EE Fix Patch 2.0.3 build (30188) (Out 6/12/2019)
EE Patch 2.0.4 build 30211 (6/14/2019)
EE Patch 2.0.4 build (30318) (Out 6/17/2019)
EE Patch 2.0.5c build (30397) (out 6/21/2019)
EE Patch 2.0.6 build 31134 (Out 7/23/2019)
EE Patch 2.0.7b build 32438 (Out 9/15/2019)


EE Update patch 2.1.0 build ##### (Out End of Year)

I recommend, after the patch, to download all of the DLC files with the latest build #) and re-installing them.

and remember if on first load up of game, screen goes dark and music plays in background, it is more then likely updating all of your save files to the new version and build of the game. let it do it's thing. the game menu will show up after that is done..

Cool-- my last update involved uninstalling the game and then removing 43 GB of additional files in its directory. Removing Galaxy, downloading the entire game, reinstalling, then reinstalling Galaxy. Took a whole day.

Updated for EE Patch 2.0.5c build (30397) that was put out early this morning. 3.9 gb file patch!!!!
